Hello everyone, here are some notes from the Monday night Club meeting:

The meeting was called to order at 7:35pm with 15 members and guests. Minutes
from the previous meeting and the treasurer's report were read and accepted.

Members in Distress: No report of members in distress, but we were glad to have
WB8ZOI and KD8WVO both at the meeting.

Committee reports follow...

Education: No testing session was held on October, no report of a November
session yet either. Tom Servoss and the VE Team will be conducting special
testing at the Winter Hamfest on December 6th. The time will be 10:00am at the
Delta Public Library, which is directly across the street from the Hamfest. All
normal rules and fees apply.

Repeater Committee: No report.

Memorial Committee: No report.

EC Report: No report.

Membership: We have 50 members up to date on dues so far. Thank you for your
continued support.

T-Shirt Committee: No report.

Hamfest Committee: The Hamfest was really the dominant topic of the evening,
here is what we have so far:

1. Volunteers should plan on being at Delta Memorial Hall at 6:00am on December
6th. We have individuals currently assigned to ticket sales, parking
assistance, talk-in assistance, and coffee/concessions. We are still looking
for a few more volunteers to float between responsibilities, please contact
Bryan (KB8ELG) if you can help.

2. The club will have a table reserved for any members who want to bring in
items to sell.

3. Bryan was able to talk with Calvary Church, three doors to the East from
Memorial Hall, about using their parking area for their event. Combined with
parking by Memorial Hall across Wood St, and parking off of Lincoln St, there
should be adequate parking for the event.

4. The URL listed in the December QST for the Club Website is wrong, however the
listing at the ARRL's Hamfest calendar is correct.

5. We have received the door prizes (both ARRL Gift certificates, and several
Baofeng 2m/440 HTs)

More information will be distributed as we have it available.

Upcoming Events:

11/28/2014 Archbold Festival of Lights Parade
12/06/2014 Winter Hamfest
12/15/2014 Christmas Dinner at the Barn Restaurant in Archbold

Good of Amateur Radio:

1. We assisted with the Keiser Run/Walk on November 8th, Thanks to all the club
members for a great turnout for this chilly event.

2. The Archbold Festival of Lights Parade is rapidly approaching on 11/28 (the
day after Thanksgiving). They have added a 5K race in addition to the parade,
which we have been asked to assist with. We do not have a meeting time, but
plan on meeting in the usual location at the ConAgra parking lot. We will let
everyone know what time to meet.

Next Meeting: The next regular club meeting will be the Christmas Dinner at the
Barn Restaurant in Archbold at 6:30pm. There is no formal meeting with the
event, so plan on coming out for a great meal and fun and laughs. As in years
past, individuals are responsible for the cost of their meal.
