[FCARC] January Meeting Reminder and Notes to pass along

The next club meeting will be held on January 19 at the County Administration 
Building (same as the Drivers License Bureau), 152 S. Fulton St, Wauseon at 7:30pm.

Notes to Pass Along:

The first business meeting of the year is the election of club officers, your 
attendance is greatly appreciated for this.

Club membership renewals for 2015 are also due at this time.   I will be getting 
renewal notices out via e-mail and postal mail in the next few days.  If I 
happen to miss you, please let me know. Your membership fees help offset the 
cost of running the club, allow us to hold events like the OSPOTA cookout, and 
maintaining the repeater.  Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

It was nice to have a good turnout for the Christmas Dinner at The Barn in 
Archbold.  I have a few pictures online at the club website here:

It is official also, we are moving the December Hamfest to the American Legion 
on St Rt 109, just south of Delta.  We were surprised by the overwhelming 
interest our first Winter Hamfest, and have sought out a bigger venue.  We will 
be actively promoting this at all of the regional hamfests this year.  More 
details will be made available as we draw closer to the date of December 5.

VE Testing:

The club gives Testing the last Saturday of each month contact  Tom Servoss 
(KC8UOM) if interested, you can find his phone number on the www.k8bxq.org 
website under the VE Testing section.
