Thanks to all for your patience, we had the 147.195 primary repeater down to
troubleshoot the receive sensitivity issue reported by many of the repeater
users. The following is a summary of issues Adam (KB8MDF) found with his
service monitor:

1. Re-tuned the duplexer - it may have had a bad spot on one of the TX cans -
pass loss rated at 1.6db - notch depth was about -90db and was aligned to
-92.4db - an improvement of 2.4db. The RX side loss rated at 1.6db and notch
depth improved from -88db to -90.5db.

2. Removed the mixed jumpers from the RX side of the repeater and made one
jumper from the RX port to the duplexer port.

3. Changed the antenna jumper from the Polyphaser to the duplexer tee - this is
a piece of double-shielded coax, and while it will work it would be better
served to use a reasonable piece of half-inch hardline - will change it again
when I find the right hardline connectors.

4. The TX amplifier was bad - only had 27 watts out - Bryan (KB8ELG) has the amp
and will look into repairing it. Set the TK-750 transmitter to 22 watts out and
will run there until an amplifier is either repaired or replaced.

While onsite, Bryan and myself also installed the air conditioner, so we are all
set for the summer heat.
