OK folks, Field Day is this Saturday and Sunday! Here is a tentative breakdown
of events:

Friday After 5:00pm - Dark: Antenna and Site Prep. If you have wire antennas or
any site setup prep work that needs to be done, anytime after 5:00pm is fair
game to start setup. We are only running 24 hours, so we are allowed to do this.

Friday 7:00pm - Quick tutorial on the logging software. If you are running a
rig or helping with logging, please try to be there around 7:00pm for a quick
15-20 minute demo of the software. It's easy to use and helps us compile our
score at the end of the event. If you are running your own laptop, bring it
along and I'll get the software installed. If you do not have a laptop and are
running a rig, let me know and I'll bring a spare (I have a few).

Saturday Daybreak - Site setup and prep.

Saturday 10:30am - VE Testing at the Field Day Site

Saturday 12:00pm - Education Activity: Proper setup and deployment of the
pneumatic mast system. This will give us 100 points as an education activity,
and it will be handy for anyone planning on ever using the mast to have this
handy setup tutorial. This should be wrapped up in 30 minutes or so.

Saturday 12:30pm - 2:00pm - Rig/Station setup. Now is a good time to test SWR
and all station components.

Saturday 2:00pm - Field Day Contest Official Start.

Saturday 5:00pm - Dinner at the Woodlot. Bring a dish to share! We ask that
you bring your favorite beverage and dining utensils and plates for yourself.
Contact KB8ELG for details.

** We usually operate well into the evening. Last one off the air please shut
off the generator!

Sunday Daybreak - 2:00pm - Field Day Contest Continues.
Sunday 2:00pm - Tear down.

Here is a list of Stations I know of (7A):

1: Steve Stuart - W8AN - 40/80 CW (but probably CW on all HF bands if no one
else is on them)
2: Craig Szczublewski - KD8KBU - PSK32/RTTY on any available HF
3: Brian Chaffins - KC8ZBC - PSK31/RTTY on any available HF
4: Tom Servos/Brian Beck - KC8UOM/KB8GOM - 10m phone
5: Bryan Patterson/Dave Pugh - KB8ELG/AB8RC - VHF (6m) phone, HF phone on
available bands
6: Lindsay Infante/Angela Infante - K8LI/KB2AVN - 40m phone

GOTA: Ben Murray - KD8JBS

In addition, Cass Telles - KD8MNG will be bringing his fathers IC-718 to run
(not sure if the full schedule, but I think it will still fit in the 7A category)

Please direct any questions back to me via E-mail and I'll try to get them
answered in an orderly method.
