[FCARC] Delta Chicken Fest - short notice, but help needed.

To all Amateur Radio operators;

As the president of the Fulton County Amateur Radio Club I am putting out A call 
for help with the upcoming event.

There is a need of operators this weekend to help man the Club station at the 
Delta Chicken fest. We will be operating the club station in conjunction with 
the new portable antenna system. Covering the 20m 17m 15m & 10M bands. Anyone 
who can help to run the station and or help pass out information to inform the 
public of our mission and purpose and help to recruit new amateurs, I ask that 
you set any time you have open to answer this call. We will be assisting the 
Delta Police Dept. again this year on Sunday with traffic control for the 
Parade. Operations will be conducted on 146.460 FM for all simplex 
communications. We will also be handing out Water to anyone who is in need.

Again, I can not stress enough how vital these interactions are with the public 
and local government. These are the things that will define us qualified and 
willing amateur operators, who will step up when God forbid the need ever arises.
