To anyone looking for A Great deal on A desk microphone, Watch for these at the upcoming shows, several dealers had them N.I.B. at Ft. Wayne for $15.00 Here is the link to get A idea what they look like;

I put one on my Icom IC-551A and it sound better than any other mic I have tried.

Note; the (2) 1/4" jacks are hooked in parellel and can feed (2) different radios with the addition of a S.P.D.T switch to allow you to select what radio you want to use.
I have mine set for feeding the IC-551 and Kenwood TM-721A.
The other idea I like is, you can set up several pre-wired cords for any radio that uses low (200-600 ohm) microphone input audio and shares A common ground for audio and P.T.T.
Most modern solid-state radios do.
