This year for the ARRL Field Day, we are going to try sending out
invites to Amateur Radio operators in and around Fulton County who
may have never participated in Field Day, or don't have the time
to play radio the whole weekend. I thought it would be fun to
mock up an invite in the form of a QSL card, which works out even
better since it has lower postage rates as a postcard.
We'll be working on a list of addresses to send them out to, I was
somewhat surprised to find over 150 licensed amateur operators in
Fulton County alone! You may be seeing one of these shortly, so
please do consider stopping out to our Field Day site in Tedrow
sometime during that weekend to meet and greet the club, or maybe
even call CQ for a bit.
Thanks go to one of my clients who is a printing company and created
150 of these at no charge for the club. The images I have listed
here are just the artwork and may look a little choppy since I
resized them for the web, but the print versions are fantastic
though. I'll bring some up to the club meeting on Monday for
everyone to see.
Until then, 73
