[FCARC] Club Events Reminder

As a reminder, we have the FCARC Hamfest tomorrow, June 4th.  Our location is 
the Roth Family Woodlot at 101 Hill Avenue in Tedrow, OH (just 2 miles west of 
Turnpike exit 34 on County Rd J).  The Hamfest runs from 8am to 1pm with a 
talk-in on 147.195+.  VE Testing is at 10:30am for anyone interested.

The other big event for the month is Field Day, June 25th-26th.  This will be at 
the same location as the Hamfest and I encourage all Hams to stop out.  A bit of

In honor of Field Day in Ohio, Ohio Governor John Kasich has proclaimed 
Saturday, June 25th as "Amateur Radio Operator's Appreciation Day" in Ohio. A 
downloadable copy of the Proclamation is available in the Ohio Section website 
(www.arrlohio.org). Please, if you're going to host a Field Day, make sure this 
document is proudly displayed. Many thanks for State Government Liaison Nick 
Pittner, K8NAP, for securing the Proclamation.
