Here are some notes form this evenings meeting.

Education/VE Committee Report:

David Nelson reported that we are once again listed as a monthly exam
location on the ARRL website. We had no 2011 listings which may have
accounted for no inquires in the past few months. We also discussed the
possibility of sponsoring a technician level class over the course of
several weekends, followed by an exam session. Other area clubs have
had good success in providing this service recently.

Repeater Committee Report:

We have acquired a new 60 amp rack mount Astron power supply for the
primary repeater site. We expect to have this installed within the next
few weeks. We want to thank Lindsay (K8LI) for the use of his 50 amp
supply in the interim. It has also been decided to proceed with
replacing the DB 4 bay antenna at the primary repeater site with a new
Andrews 4 bay antenna. We suspect a problem with the phasing harness on
the current antenna, possibly due to weathering. We also have plans to
finish the migration to the new repeater building which was cut short
last year due to the quick onset of inclement weather.

Field Day Committee Report:

June 25-26 is the weekend for this years Field Day. We are working on
securing a pneumatic mast for the weekend, which worked very well for us
last year. We also discussed putting up a club station for general
use. Our motvation would be to get Amateur Operators in Fulton County
to attend and perhaps consider running that rig for an hour or two.
This would allow many HAMs the opportunity to have some fun on the air
without the hassle of setting up their rig and antenna systems. We'll
post more info on Field Day as it gets closer, but please do consider
stopping out to see us and maybe call CQ for a bit.

Upcoming Meeting Notes:

We again want to thank Paul Barnaby for the use of the County
Administration Building for our club meetings. The remaining meetings
for the rest of the year and all of 2012 will be held at this location.
One exception is the September 2011 club meeting which will be at the
Soil and Water building across from the Fulton County Fairgrounds due to
a scheduling conflict.

Other Miscellaneous Notes (in no particular order):

We have 43 paid members
The FCARC Hamfest is June 4th in Tedrow (see club website)
The new county EC is Andy KD8OEY

I think that's all for now. I probably missed some items, so please
feel free to correct me.
