[FARReps] Web update recognizes FF06

As both a club rep and an attendee at FARFEST, I request that we be
provided with the mailing address of the agency that owns and manages the
Montgomery County Fairgrounds, so that individual complaints can be made to
them about the parking fee and the way it was collected. Whether the
Foundation complains or not, individuals need to have the means to
complain. The management can blow off the Foundation's one complaint as no
big deal. Numbers count, and perception also counts.

Perception refers to the strong impression people like me got, that we were
being scammed by someone who set up in a convenient location to defraud the
ham operators for the benefit of the gay rodeo. I had some conversation
with the people collecting the parking fee, and there was no possibility of
confusion about which event we were attending. They collected my $5, and
tucked a ticket under my windshield wiper to indicate that I had paid. I
did not look closely at that ticket until we were ready to leave. When I
did, I discovered that it was a general admission ticket to the rodeo, with
a face value of $5. Now, maybe that's just what they used to keep track of
things, but the bottom line is I have documentary evidence that I was
tricked into buying a ticket to the rodeo, and nothing the fairground
management tells me now will alter that perception. They need to know how
much I, my wife, and others are offended by this. Only a mailbag full of
individual letters will accomplish that.
