[FARReps] 2006 ARRL Atlantic Division Grand Ole Ham

At FARFest 2006 (Gaithersburg (MD) Hamfest), the ARRL
Atlantic Division Director, Bill Edgar, N3LLR, and the
ARRL Atlantic Division Vice Director, Tom Abernethy, W3TOM,
announced that Page Pyne, WA3EOP, has been awarded the
honor as the "2006 ARRL Atlantic Division Grand Ole Ham"

The "Grand Ole Ham" award is very rare. In fact, Page is
only the second person to receive this honor in this
century.

(The first was Bill Thompson, W2MTA, in 2000 for his
  work with the National Traffic System in Western New
  York.)
