Subject: [FARReps] For VA FAR Club Reps
Greetings, all:
I have been asked by VA ASM Woody Thompson/W4TU to help arrange a meeting so
he and our new SM Glen Sage can meet and talk with NoVA League ham club
representatives and members. The focus will be on League activities, not
just ARES matters.
Given the travel involved, it seems sensible to do that on a Saturday.
According to their current meeting sked, the open dates are:
7/22+29,
8/26,
9/23, and
10/7+14.
But, knowing how hams and their families and their radios all like
vacations, I would suggest we focus on the four dates from 8/26ff.
So, kindly reply to me putting those in 1-4 priority order, with an eye to
interesting club members as well as officers. And if any of your clubs will
actually meet on one of those Saturdays, please let me know. That might
handily answer the question of where to gather.
Thanks in advance for your help in making this a productive gathering, and
letting me know at your earliest convenience so we can keep the ball
rolling.
