As a FAR Representative for two organizations, I would like to
ask, Why doesn't the 2006 FARFest web site,
<http://www.k3qx.com/farfest/>, mention anything about FARFest
being the ARRL MDC State Convention?

It is shown as such on the ARRL hamfest web site.

I will expect an answer at the meeting on Wednesday.
