DRAFT MINUTES
Meeting of The Foundation for Amateur Radio, Inc.
November 8, 2006

The meeting was held at the Lee Center in Alexandria, Virginia.  Mary
Morris, N4TCI, called the meeting to order at 8:05 pm.

The August minutes were approved as presented.

Acting Treasurer, John Chitwood, K3RGB, gave the treasurer's report.  The
report was accepted as presented.

Vice-President’s report  - William Hatfield -W3QX said he is still looking
for WEB help.  No progress on getting new meeting place.

F.A.R. Fest - FAR Fest Chairman Dan Blasberg said no appropriate site for
2007 has been found.

Old Business:

Nominating Committee:  Dan reported we still need nominations for treasurer
and president.

Board meeting is scheduled at 1:00 Sunday, November 12.

The meeting adjourned at 8:50 p.m.

The location of the next FAR meeting will be at Fire and Emergency Services
building in Landover, Maryland.
