[FARC] Winter field day

So I called the state park people. It appears that we are too late to get
Washington monument state park.  Apparently the summer group that gets it
for field day, pays a fee, park requires insurance, and needs more time to
complete the paper work.  But the good news is I asked if we could set up
in Gathland State park.  He said that it was a public parking area and
therefore we could set up there and use it.  I said we would have a Rv with
a "couple of antennas"!   So is there any interest to set up in Gathland
and give it a shot.   I will say that Kerri and my equipment is mostly
mobile/portable 100w rigs kenwood 480 and yaseu 857.  Would welcome any
ideas or suggestions and Additional operators.
