Brian.

Between Mark and I we have two of the frequencies used on the last fox 
hunt.  Could you verify them as 145.600 and 146.600 and  the unknown 
third frequency as ???.  I want to program them into my HT for future 
reference.

Dear all, 

I have a Schumacher model PS-400-3A power pack jumper with built in charger. 

You can enter Schumacher model PS-400-3A into google and see it. 

The battery is bad but as far as I know the charging cks work ok. I have the old battery but not in the unit. so if anyone is interested you can see what the battery looks like. 

If anyone wants it , its free for the taking. When the battery was good it has started by cars a few times with no problem.

This is the final request to provide communications support to the
Cystic Fibrosis Cycle (CFC) for Life Bike Ride on Sunday, October 22,
2015 at Harrington Harbor South. Herrington Harbor South is located at:
668 Friendship Road, North Beach, Maryland 20714. 

The ride as described by the CFC Committee describes the "ride through
the most scenic terrain along Maryland's treasured Chesapeake Bay. CF
Cycle for Life features well-stocked rest stops every 10-12 miles, bike
mechanics along the route support vehicles, great food and
entertainment." There will be three routes: a 15, 30, and a 65 mile
route. This is not a race but a ride.

Frederick ARES has been asked to help provide communications support for an
annual state sponsored, multi-agency Search and Rescue Exercise in and
around Catoctin Mountain Park near Thurmont, on Nov. 5th from 0800-1800. We
are in need of hams experienced in net operations to provide coverage
between ground search teams and the Command Post in a simulated missing
person scenario. Any amateur in the MDC Section is welcome, and we'll break
up the shifts into 3- 4 hour slots (0800-1200, 1200-1500, 1500-1800), and we
should have 2-3 operators per shift operating out of our comm van.

I have just learned of the passing of Jim Ridgley, N3HTA, a longtime member
and former President of the Frederick Amateur Radio Club. I first met Jim in
2000 when I joined FARC, and a nicer person you could never have known.

 

He will be missed.

I was planning on using my Odyssey van, but your mod may be just what we're looking for. Tell me about how it is configured.

So there has been a mod to the duece a military coms body has been added.
