Subject: [FARC] Free Tri-Bander - 300watt model

We just removed an old TH3JR beam (10-15-20 meters) from the roof. The bolts 
holding it together are rusted and frozen, in some cases, rusting away, 
but otherwise, the antenna appears to be in pretty good shape. 


I'm hoping to find it a new home. It's FREE, but you must disassemble 
and carry away. A free rotator is available too, still connected to the base, 
condition unknown. Kensington, MD, Washington, DC area.

Our Feb. meeting is on 2/15 at Independent Hose Company and we'll have VE testing at our Hamfest on 3/19 at the same location. All I have is a General study guide, but I'll put out the word and see if anyone has a current Technician study guide.

Can anyone help Justin with a Tech book?

The Frederick Amateur Radio Club is pleased to announce our upcoming

Hamfest and Indoor Tailgating Expo (Fredfest) on Saturday, March 19, 2016.
The event

will take place in the Social Hall of the Independent Hose Company fire

station located at 310 Baughmans Ln. in Frederick. Setup begins at 7:00

AM with the event scheduled from 8:00 AM to noon. Admission is free to all,

and you can reserve two "tailgating" tables for $20.00

(additional tables are $5.00 each). We will offer free license testing,

two $50.00 and two $25.00 ARRL gift certificate door prizes
