Frederick ARES has again been asked to provide communications support for
the March of Dimes March for Babies on Sunday, May 1st, in Middletown
Community Park. We need about 4-5 hams with 2M HT?s and we?ll use 146.580
simplex. The walk starts at 1330, so we?ll meet at the starting area at 1300
and deploy from there and the walk should last about 1 ? to 2 hours.

 

As always, ARES membership is not required to participate. If you want to
help but don?t have an HT, we?ll have one or two loaners available.

 

Please let me know if you can help and if you have your own HT to use.

 It seems like a relatively small area, so an HT with a watt of power should
work fine. More details to follow.
