Tomorrow early afternoon we are setting up on the roof of the Rockville building (7 stories) and will need help with testing. We have several frequencies we want to test. Initial testing will be on 147.495 Mhz, simplex. PL is required: 233.6 Hz. We also have the ability to transmit on other 2 meter simplex frequencies including repeaters: 145.29 and 146.955 during the test. If you want to participate, please email me today or tomorrow morning and give me your phone or cell phone number. We are looking for all signal reports especially from Bethesda near NIH and Frederick (Ft. Detrick) and anywhere else. Thanks in advance for your help. I expect we will be operating between 1:00 and 3:00 PM on Tuesday, July 14th. 73, Dick, WN3R 202-497-2840 cell PS If we are one a repeater frequency, please transmit and receive only on the input frequencies since we are testing simplex coverage. Once I hear from you, I will send you a complete frequency list for this test. Keith, Mike has agreed to lend the Tour De Frederick a GMRS repeater. Since you had offered your van for the event, I figured we could put the antenna for the repeater on the van. So it sounds like I will have the van at the Delaplain, and I will be the one driving it. ~Sean On Mon, Jul 27, 2015 at 12:48 PM, Mike Barrett wrote: > Anytime today or tomorrow > > Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE DROID > > Keith wrote: > > >What time would suite you best for me to drop by? > > > >Keith > > > >On 7/27/2015 8:58 AM, Mike wrote: > >> I have one you can use > >> > >> -----Original Message----- > >> From: FARC [mailto:farc-bounces at mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of Keith > >> Sent: Monday, July 27, 2015 7:35 AM > >> To: Frederick, Maryland ARC > >> Subject: Re: [FARC] Tour De Frederick & Gran Fondo radio ops needed! > >> > >> Jeff, > >> > >> I'm trying to get a backbone microwave link up and need a 110 volt > >> generator. > >> The club used one at Field Day in Hospital garage, do you think it is > >> possible for me to borrow it? > >> > >> Keith > >> ______________________________________________________________ > >> FARC mailing list > >> Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/farc > >> Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm > >> Post: mailto:FARC at mailman.qth.net > >> > >> This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net > >> Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html > >> > >> ______________________________________________________________ > >> FARC mailing list > >> Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/farc > >> Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm > >> Post: mailto:FARC at mailman.qth.net > >> > >> This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net > >> Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html > > > >______________________________________________________________ > >FARC mailing list > >Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/farc > >Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm > >Post: mailto:FARC at mailman.qth.net > > > >This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net > >Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html > ______________________________________________________________ > FARC mailing list > Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/farc > Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm > Post: mailto:FARC at mailman.qth.net > > This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net > Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html > -- Sean McAdam Frederick Communications, LLC (office/cell) 301-591-4113 (fax) 301-591-4114 Linux / Unix / OpenSource / Networking Solutions
