We recently bought ten programmable dual-band radios and are having trouble programming them to match our existing set of radios. We have a list of frequencies and tried using the CHIRP program to set them up, but we couldn't get them to work. None of my staff know enough about radio operation to get this done, and our usual radio person is unavailable. I am hoping your group has or knows of someone who might be able to help us with these. I live near Harpers Ferry and am interested in learning about amateur radio. I've been search for days online for contact info but every source is for people already "in the know"! I'm getting very discouraged but I haven't quite given up because I think radio is super neat. Basically, I'm trying to find a way to learn about what it would take to become an amateur radio operator. I don't know anyone who is one already but I'm drawn to it!
