[FARC] Field Day

Field day radios:

 

I will deploy the following radios and antenna

 

IC-7000

IC-7200

IC7100

Yaseu 817ND

 

The ARES radio is of course on site --- IC706 MKIIG.

 

I can bring a 500 watt Ameritron if there is the need.

 

I will have telescoping mast and dipole antennas. The RV is equipped with a
4KW generator and of course we have battery power.  

 

So we are gaining some point being remote and self-contained. We should be
able to get some point from having a Red Cross Official visit the station.  

 

The base plan is to setup one hour before official starting time. Let me
know if you are planning to come out and play. If you have gear that you
want to try load it up. We need some Strong CW guys out there for QRP
operations.
