[FARC] Dues and news about our charter

Dan,

I don't tweet and I don't twitter. I don't even have a facebook page. I have
a cell phone because my wife got it for me but I only turned it on three times
in the last two years. So you can see that I practically live in the stone age.

However, I like your idea and I have actually used PayPal. I will bring this up
at the next meeting and if the club goes for it, I will look into what it takes
to set it up. In the mean time, snail mail still works.

Thanks for the suggestion.

73,
Mark

I have a suggestion. It might need to go through the club meeting floor
motion and voting process, but any chance that the FARC treasurer set up
a PayPal account of which of course is linked to the FARC bank account
and allow club members to pay on line? Heck you might even see more than
just the recurring annual club dues. Set up a FARC email address and
away you go. Other regional radio clubs have done this and surprise,
surprise the once depleted cash reserves have started to get
replenished. It's only a suggestion. Yes I hate writing checks and our
USPS...

Always open minded.
