[FARC] 17 June 2013 - FARC Meeting - Field Day Plans

With all of the planning and preparation, I have been remiss in sending this
message sooner.

 

The regularly scheduled meeting of the Frederick Amateur Radio Club, Inc,
will occur tonight, at 7:00 PM at the Independent Hose Company # 1 at 310
Baughmans Lane.

 

This meeting will include final plans for Field Day 2013, and will likely be
a lively meeting with lots of discussions and plans.  In the event that rain
and thunderstorms are not in the area, will likely include the removal of
the antenna from the roof of the facility.  This will be used on field day,
and then relocated after field day to the alternate location.

 

We will be passing around a signup sheet for field day, and getting final
plans in place.  

 

Field day is next weekend, and these are the plans in place as of this
morning.  We still need to work out which rigs will be there, and which
antennas and tuners will be there.

This is listed on the ARRL site as K3ERM, and we have approval from them to
be there.

 

Location....:   Walmart - 7400 Guilford Drive - Parking Lot Near Lawn and
Garden

Times........:   From about noon on the 22nd to about 4P on the 23rd.

On the Air..:   2PM Saturday the 22nd to 2PM Sunday the 23rd  

Needed.....:  Folks to coordinate moving stuff, and short haul small item
movements

 

All that is left is the day itself.
