Curtis,

The boys and I have an Eagle Scout project to work on in the morning, early
afternoon, so won't be able to help with the setup. We can probably get out
in the late afternoon/early evening and operate for a few hours. I think I
have another teen interested in joining us, and might try to grab another.

Looking forward to seeing our FARC members and friends!

73,

Subject: [FARC] Field Day Preparation - Plans

Good Day All:

So the 2013 ARRL Field Day is nearing, and plans are coming together. We
have secured the location, and gotten our listing on the ARRL Field Day
locator site.

Location....: Walmart - 7400 Guilford Drive - Parking Lot Near Lawn and
Garden

Times........: From about noon on the 22nd to about 4P on the 23rd.

On the Air..: 2PM Saturday the 22nd to 2PM Sunday the 23rd

Needed.....: Folks to coordinate moving stuff, and short haul small item
movements

All that is left is the day itself.

I'll be picking up the tower trailer at about 10AM on the 22nd, and driving
it up to the location, and then assisting in setting it up. Radios, tuners,
antennas, generator and misc items that need to be moved or coordinated will
be in need of some bodies for assistance. The trailer will arrive in
location about noon, and the setup will commence in order to be on the air
by 2PM on Saturday the 22nd.

We will need information from each of you as to when and what you can bring
to the effort to have a good public showing, and what times you can be
available.

It is my intention to be there as long as possible, and we must have at
least one body there for the entire 24 hours. In the event of problem
weather, we will have tarps and tents, but it is also recommended you bring
your own folding chairs, and whatever else may be needed.

So basically we will need to cover from about noon on the 22nd, till about
4PM on the 23rd, and will need assistance with setup and teardown. Once the
trailer is secured, I will need to deliver it back to its storage location.

Please e-mail and let us know what your plans are for this event.
