Happy New Year.  It is time to pay your FARC dues for 2013.  Congratulations

to Bill Horine KA3HJC.  Bill is the first member to pay his dues for 2013. 

Bring a check made out to FARC for %15 or cash to Monday night's meeting and

save yourself a postage stamp (42c).

Those unable to attend may mail a check to FARC P.O.Box 1260, Frederick, MD 21702-0260.

About our charter which you may remember had been revoked for failure to file

a personal property tax return for the past five years, I have received a letter

from the "Department of Assessments and Taxation" the contents of which I will 

reveal at the Monday night meeting.

Subject: [FARC] FARC Meeting

To All:
 
The January meeting of the Frederick Amateur Radio Club will  be on January 
21, 2013 at the Independent Hose Company on Baughman's Lane  starting at 
7PM.  I encourage all members to be present.  We are  "behind" in the 
procedures for our 2013 elections.  I will entertain a  discussion and hopefully a 
route to accomplish our elections.  
 
I ask everyone to consider running for the office of President.  I do  not 
wish to continue.  I have not heard any other officer indicate they  wish to 
discontinue their service; but that will not be determined until the  
upcoming meeting when I will ask for a Nomination Committee to serve.
 
It has been a couple months since we last all met.  I have no specific  
program and recommend you remember some interesting ham activities (or perhaps  
some not so great ones) to share with the group.
 
Hope to see everyone at the meeting on Monday evening.
