I would like to invite each of you to attend our DXCC-East  Convention

Also since your club is in Frederick,  you may want to assist our club in 
accomplishing this event. If  so, please contact Mike (W3MC) or myself (David 
- K3LP) using the email addresses  above.
 
Starting Friday evening, Aug. 24 at 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM,  we'll meet at 
W3LPL's QTH to examine radio equipment provided by sponsors  (i.e. ICOM, Yaesu, 
etc.). Snacks and drinks will be provided by ICOM with Tim  Duffy (K3LR) 
representing ICOM. After this, we'll head to the Holiday-Inn  Convention Hotel 
on Friday night for a light social and drinks. 
 
The formal part of the DXCC-East Convention will start on  Saturday, Aug. 
25, 2012 at 8:30 AM through 9:00 PM. Please check the details  at our website

have a lot of great prices that will be given away at the evening dinner.  

It is our plan to make this an annual event and your  participation is 
needed to make it successful. It is our goal this year to  have a least 150 
people attend the evening dinner. This means you have a very  good chance to win 
an ICOM-7600, YAESU FT-2000 or ACOM 1010 Amp.
