Joe,

Others will correct me if I am wrong but see if you can contact someone on
that dstar repeater and see I they can set it to 20A . That may not be
their policy else we can connect to 30C here and if we know when
you will be listening we can do that.

If we are linked to 30C then everyone listening to the 444.8 dstar repeater
will hear you.

Let us know via email when you will be listening to k7lwh 30C

Subject: [FARC] DStar Sked, tonight/tomorrow

I'm working out on the west coast and I'd like to figure out how to use
DStar to communicate with repeaters and stations back home. I can reach
the K7LWH DStar repeater in Bellevue, Wa from my hotel.

Some things I'm thinking about
A one to one call each way, I call a station in Frederick and a station in
Frederick calls me
A general call to the local repeater, where I call on K7LWH and everyone on
the KB3YBH repeater can hear me

Also, is it possible to access a different reflector if the repeater is
linked to one I don't want to use.

For example, KB3YBH is linked to REF020A -- K7LWH is linked to REF030C --
is there any way to access REF020A from K7LWH?

Thanks,
Joe
