(This message was sent out two weeks ago, but apparently was not received by some of the members. Therefore, I am retransmitting it.   -- Dave, W8AJR)

The next general membership meeting of T-MARC will be held at noon on Sunday, October 3, at the Howard County Fairgrounds, in conjunction with the CARA Hamfest and the Maryland Suburban Home Show. Admission to the hamfest is $6. Further information on the hamfest and prices for indoor and tailgate spaces may be found at www.carafest.org.



The Fairgrounds are located on Frederick Rd. (Rt. 144), one mile west of Rt. 32 near Exit 82 from I-70. 



The meeting will be held in the dining hall at near the east end of the midway.

Report on coordination actions since our last meeting

Election Board of Directors

Coordination issues presented by those in attendance



 All repeater sponsors who plan to attend are asked to notify us in advance of the name and call of your designated representative, or to send a written authorization with the designated representative. 



Election of the board members was deferred until this meeting at the meeting of October 4, 2009. The present board consists of:

Bruce Carpenter, W3YVV

Larry D'Anna, WA3KOK

Bryan Dorbert, N3ST

John Elgin, WA3MNN

Hugh Katz, K3HU

Dave Prestel, W8AJR



All of the above are willing to continue serving on the board. However, we would certainly welcome new faces, so, if you wish to nominate someone, please let us know. I would ask that you do that person the courtesy of confirming that they are willing to serve before tossing their name into the ring.
