(Sorry for the blank posting earlier. Here's the posting I was trying to make....)
Greetings, all! I've been cleaning out some old electronic parts and unused ham equipment and offer the following for your consideration:
- Icom IC-230 2-meter mobile rig. Don't know if it works.
- Hallicrafters SX-101A HF receiver. Broken pitch control knob. $200 obo
- Heathkit TX-1 Apache AM transmitter. $300 obo (or SX-101A and TX-1 for $400)
- (4) UPC BackUPS 280 battery backup units. I'm told they worked before being taken out of service, but the batteries are dead. They use standard 12V @ 7Ah sealed lead acid batteries, similar to a standard PowerSonic PS1270 battery, available most places for $15-25. $10 for each unit.
- A pair of 49MHz 5-channel headset radios made by Radio Shack. Great for the kids. $10/pr.
Enough components to make ten, 10-second voice recorders. If no one wants the whole lot, I am willing to sell individual components.
Parts include:
- (10) small black plastic enclosures by Hammond Mfg., 4.7" x 3.5" x 4.85".
- (10) ISD-1110 IC "Chip-Corder", a 10-second EEPROM non-volatile analog voice recorder chip.
- Through-hole and surface-mount resistors and capacitors of various values.
- A whole bunch of 9V battery snaps.
$40 for the whole lot. Let me know if you're looking for a specific component value; I won't bore you with details here.
Want vintage computer parts? You're in luck: 30 & 72 pin RAM, 486 motherboards. Cases, monitors, keyboards, oh my! They work great for packet or basic APRS stations.
There's other miscellaneous non-ham stuff too: a dishwasher, model railroad accessories, 2 cordless phones, 4 lawn sprinkers, and some home automation stuff including 2 digital thermostats, among other things.
Feel free to email or call (1-301-733-9268) anytime if you'd like more information or photos. There will likely be more to follow as spring cleaning continutes.
