[FARC] Field Day Operators Needed, June 26 & 27on

I also plan to be there guys.  Let me know what to bring (generator, 718, AT200Pro, power supplies, cords, etc.).  As I understand it we're setting up on the Frederick Airport property?

I plan on being there to operate.. Bringing my 706 - netbook (will try to run 

PSK31, CW, etc.) - and a couple of different HF long wire & and antennas for 6, 

2/432..  & 2kw generator.. 







Have just got my Truck Tent - will sleep 2 comphy - a privy tent for the 

portable LOO.. 







Do you know where exactly we will be setting up? 







How far from the food vendors?  Porta-pottys?   Operating on grass - Need to be 

able to drive short ground stakes for generators and lightening?  If no close to 

vendors, can we bring our own KQQLERS, and stoves?

I'm not sure how formal of a schedule we can maintain, but one thing 

is for sure, it is tough for one person to be on the air for a full 24 

hours. 



Please let me know when you would generally be available during Field 

Day (2PM Saturday - 2PM Sunday).  We hope to operate in teams of two, 

one person logging and the other on the radio.  No need to be a 

licensed amateur to participate (to operate a radio, a licensed ham 

must be there of course).
