[FARC] FARC Meeting next Monday!

The first Frederick Amateur Radio Club meeting of 2010 will be held next 
Mon., Jan. 18th, 7 PM at the Independent Hose Co. on Baughmans Ln. This 
month we will hold our annual elections, and nominations from the floor are 
encouraged. If you are interested in possibly running for one of the four 
club officer slots, please contact Jim Ridgley N3HTA or Joe Durnal NE3R.

We will also be discussing possible HF upgrades of the new K3ERM club 
station at IHC and giving tours of the shack. Joshua Sullivan KB3QIB will be 
talking about the amateur radio group he's starting at Shepherd University. 
I would like to remind everyone that annual membership dues have risen from 
$10 to $15 a year and are due this month. Still a bargain!

This month's program is "Show and/or Sell" which is a variation of the old 
"Show and Tell" theme. I'm sure everyone has a favorite project or 
innovative homebrew they have put together in the past, and this would be a 
wonderful opportunity to show off your handiwork. In addition, if you have 
something to sell or trade, please bring it along and see if anyone might 
have an interest in it.
