> Frederick County ARES will be providing tactical communications for the
> Frederick County Health Dept. Influenza Vaccination Clinics & Preparedness
> Exercise on Friday, Oct. 16th, from 1000 until 1400 at three county high
> schools. This exercise will simulate a Mass Immunization emergency
> scenario and will utilize the Area Command form of the Incident Command
> System (ICS) with an Incident Commander at each location. We will be
> providing 2M voice communications between the clinics and the Health Dept.
> HQ in Frederick via one of the local repeaters.
>
> We are attempting to be able to provide radios, antennas and power
> supplies at each location, but personal gear is preferred. The clinics
> will be at Governor Thomas Johnson, Urbana, and Brunswick High Schools.
In addition, all operators can get a FREE flu shot if they wish. Ah,
the perks
    of amateur radio volunteering!
>
> This will be a great opportunity see the ICS in action and all interested
> hams are invited to participate (ARES/RACES membership is NOT required).
> Please contact me if you are available on the 16th for a four hour shift,
> or if you have any questions. Thanks!
