I'm sure our club up here in Westminster at the EOC would be more than happy to have any visitors for field day as well.

Subject: [FARC] Looking for a place to participate in Field Day?
Since there's no coordinated Field Day event in Frederick County this
year, everyone is invited to come to MARC's Field Day activities this
weekend (June 27-28) at the Germantown Campus of Montgomery College.
It is located at the end of Observation Drive, near the "earth" water
tower. It is conveniently located near I-270 at the MD-118 exit. Here
is a link to a map of the location--
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=19650+observation+dr,+germantown,+md&sll=39.185791,-77.249095&sspn=0.001933,0.00295&ie=UTF8&t=h&ll=39.185866,-77.249122&spn=0.015468,0.023603&z=15&iwloc=A
It is also public-transit accessible via Metro (take Red Line to the
Shady Grove station) and the Ride-On #55 bus which stops on campus.
Everyone is welcome to participate. There will be a GOTA (Get on the
Air) station, so even those without an amateur license will have the
opportunity to make contacts with the assistance of a control operator.
Field Day setup begins around 7:00 AM on Saturday, and operations go
from 2:00 PM on Saturday until 2:00 PM on Sunday. If you need "talk-in"
assistance, we'll be monitoring the 146.955 repeater (+600 kHz offset,
no PL tone). Feel free to spend a few hours or the whole weekend.
Hope to see you there!
73, Fred K3CSX
