Wow! That is terrible news. Doug was actually the first person I spoke with
on the radio, after I was licensed. I was a bit mic shy, but heard him
speaking on a local repeater and decided to give it a shot. I only talked
with him that one time, but he was very nice and made me feel at ease. I was
grateful that he made my first QSO so easy.

I'll pray for comfort for his family in their devastating loss.
