[FARC] Reminder - February 2009 FARC Meeting - Monday 2/16

FARC Members & Friends:

Don't forget - the February 2009 Frederick Amateur Radio Club meeting is 
coming up in a few days: Monday, 2/16/09.  We'll get started at 7 PM 
sharp, as usual, at the Independent Hose Company fire station on 
Baughmans Lane in Frederick.
   
This is another important meeting, so please make an extra effort to 
attend!  (If you need additional incentive, refreshments will be 
served!  I'll bring a different flavor of cake than January's, same 
flavor of coffee and water.)
  
As you all know, we will not be holding our usual Father's Day Hamfest 
this year.  Given that the FARC historically has placed great emphasis 
on planning and holding the Hamfest, the main topic of discussion for 
this meeting will naturally be "Whither FARC?". 
 
(Please note that the word is "whither", as in "where do we go from 
here", and NOT "wither"!)  :-)
 
Your ideas and energy are welcome and needed as we chart new courses for 
the Frederick Amateur Radio Club.  I hope you can make time to attend.
