[FARC] 7th St Radio Shack saves the day again

I'll keep that in mind. I was working from home today so that would
have been a long drive.

I didn't realize that the Kenwood TM-D700 had a male DB9 connector,
the same as on the back of the computer. I have one male to male, and
several male to female DB9 cables, bot no female to female until now.

The good news is that I have the Kenwood TM-D700 up and running in
packet mode using xastir for APRS and also acting as a WIDE1-1
digipeater. It is working well. I'm going to use this setup for the
Hike Across Maryland. Since I won't be the one operating it, I'll
have to do some quick training on the D700 and xastir, and a touch of
linux, just in case something goes wrong and a reboot is needed.
