Joe,
Looking at the "source" for your email, I don't see any HTML at all.
The reflector will allow some minor HTML through, and also seems to do
some level of conversion on its own.
For example, putting an asterisk before and after a word or phrase you
want to emphasize will cause the text to show up as bold in the email
the reflector sends out, even with no HTML tags added by you.
*For example,* the preceding text just has asterisks surrounding it.
<b>This text</b> has the HTML tags for bold added. Let's see how each
shows up when the reflector reflects this email.
Another odd thing I've noticed recently is that if you forward someone
else's email to the reflector, you won't get a copy back, even though
you're subscribed. This happened a couple of times with stuff that
Rolan W3FDK and others sent me to put out to the FARC reflector. A
couple times I this caused me to send things multiple times. I wasn't
getting a copy back, so I thought that the email had been lost or
rejected by the reflector.
Care and feeding of the reflector host has changed hands recently, so
other stuff may behave differently from the way it did a few months ago.
