[FARC] Another Laptop Battery Recall

The CPSC, Sony and three laptop manufacturers have announced another big 
recall of Sony lithium-ion laptop batteries that can overheat and cause 
burns and/or property damage.

The three laptop manufacturers mentioned at the CPSC site are HP, 
Toshiba and Dell. 

A couple of other articles I've seen also mention that laptops from 
Gateway, Fujitsu, Acer, Lenovo, etc. are affected, but I don't seen any 
confirmation of that (yet) via Google searches or the support sites I've 
checked.  The writers may be mixing up the recall those manufacturers 
had in 2007 with this new one.

You can start down the bunny trail of figuring out whether your HP, 
Toshiba or Dell laptop battery is included in the recall by checking the 
support site for your laptop, or the CPSC site at
