I know that this is a little off topic about radios, but just a reminder of 
the Urbana VFD/Community Blood Drive is being held this Thursday May 22, 
2008, from 2pm to 8pm., in the main hall at the Urbana VFD, 3602 URBANA 
PIKE, URBANA, MD 21704

Minimum age to donate is 16 with parents consent.
Please Call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE to register.
The blood you give may save your life and or the life of a relative or 
friend in need.
This drive is in honor of the Pastor Mayne of the Araby Church here in 
Frederick, who is suffering from a debilitating disease and is in need of a 
large quantity of blood products.

Both myself and my wife are registered volunteers with the Red Cross for 
blood drives and will be at this drive the whole time.

I will also have a transceiver operating on HF/VHF as a demonstration for 
"HAM" radio, the antennas are on my trk.
