[FARC] Myths, Staying Public

Iain,  I'll stay in the public forum thank you.  Since not all Hams are experts and most myths have a small element of truth, rookies like myself and others have to pay heed to all information, mythical or not, regarding expensive radio equipment or suffer the consequences.  

In future I'll include the word "Myth" in the subject line of E-mails such that the more enlightened club members can ignore it and not be burdened by the trivial.
