Having just gone through the INRAD learning curve I can tell you that the
alpha suffix determines which radio can use the filter. I bought a #704 when
I really needed a #704-C for my FT1000MP as an example.
Their filters are very good - you just have to match the model of the filter
to your rig. You can easily do that on the INRAD page.
