This message from Phil W3ICF came in Sunday afternoon.  Chuck W3SOG (SK) 
was 94 or 95 years old when he passed away, and had been in poor health 
for some time.

For those who didn't know of Chuck, he was among the Ham repeater 
pioneers in Maryland, and the callsign behind the original 146.730 W3SOG 
FARG repeater.

FARG team have made as they keep up the Frederick Amateur Repeater 
Group's and Chuck's legacy today.

It is with great sadness that I must report that Chuck Hite W3SOG is now 
a SK . I was advised by Rolan Clark W3FDK,  today Sunday March 2, 2008 
that Chuck has passed away.
