[FARC] What should I do? K3 or FT-2000D?

While waiting forever for my Elecraft K3, I ended up getting a great
deal on a Yaesu FT-2000D. The trouble is, I can't really afford both
rigs and one needs to be sold to pay the credit card bill.

I'm pretty happy with the Yaesu. The 200 watts really helps get my
signal over the noise with my short 75 meter antennas. They reciever
is the best I've used so far, especially on sideband. My main problem
with receiving is the local noise in the development, and the Yaesu
DSP does a pretty good job with that.

The K3 isn't built yet - in fact, I haven't even opened the shipping
box. I could probably cram the build into this weekend and have it
ready for field day, but I've already made provisions to bring the
FT-2000D (yeah, it is big and heavy).

I wouldn't want to get rid of a rig that I know I like already and
find that the K3 does't really fit my needs.

So, should I build the K3, use it for field day and then eBay it?

eBay the Yaesu FT-2000D?

eBay the K3 as is?

Keep both and try to explain to my XYL why I've spent over 4000$ I
didn't have on radios?
