Here's a reminder from Rolan W3FDK on the first Friday of the month 
Frederick-area Ham Luncheon. 

It's coming up this Friday, at the Golden Corral buffet on 355 near the 
FSK Mall.  Things will get rolling around 11:30.    

The July get-together was canceled because it fell on Independence Day.  
That's all the more reason to declare your own independence, lock up 
your desk, and step out of the office for a bit to join the group on 
Friday.

Our next 1st Friday of the month lunch will be this Friday, August 1, 
2008 at 1130 at the Golden Corral in the FSK mall complex in Frederick, 
Maryland.
 
Here hoping all are having a good summer and we certainly heading down 
into fall with August upon us.
 
I haven't been active on hardly any of the bands lately but I've been 
hearing reports of some 6 mtr activity.
 
We are supposed to be on the up swing of the next sunspot cycle so we'll 
see what happens.
