[FARC] Meeting Reminder - 7/21/08!

It's been a couple of months now since we had a "regular" meeting of the 
Frederick Amateur Radio Club, so don't forget the next one, coming up on 
Monday, July 21st.  (That's tomorrow!)

As usual, it will begin at 7:00 PM sharp, at the Independent Hose 
Company fire station on Baughmans Lane.  We'll be meeting downstairs, in 
the large hall at the rear of the station.

The presentation this month will be made by our ARRL Maryland-DC Section 
leadership, Jim Cross WI3N, Section Manager, and Al Brown KZ3AB, 
Assistant Section Manager.  Jim and Al will give us  the latest info on 
the local and national ARRL initiatives that ultimately affect us all as 
Ham Radio hobbyists.

Although the topic may sound a bit dry if you haven't met them, Jim and 
Al bring it to life with their current and
locally-relevant insights, not to mention their obvious enthusiasm for 
Amateur Radio.

Plus, as they did last time they came out our way a couple years ago, 
they'll hold a drawing for an ARRL Handbook and an ARRL Antenna book, 
either of which will be fine additions to your Ham Radio library.

BUT, you must be at the meeting to be eligible!
