[FARC] Satellite dish

I have an old Dish Network satellite dish that I have the idea of turning into a small fire pit for the backyard. It is one of the small dishes and appears to be made of a mild steel. After removing the paint from both sides, is there any type of coating, such as cadmium, on the steel that could emit hazardous fumes when heated?

Any thoughts on this? Thanks.
