[FARC] SB 80 Hearings Coming Up

The following information is from Rolan W3FDK. 

The FARC reflector won't accept attachments, so if anyone want the 
document Rolan refers to, please let me know and I'll forward it to you 
in whatever form you need.  The document basically gives information on 
the desired format for presenting testimony to the committee.

Attached is a Word document with some info on how and where to testify 
if you go to Annapolis this Thursday, January 24, to testify for SB 80 
that will prevent CC&R's and HOA's and other groups from not allowing 
Amateur Radio Equipment in future residential communites.
 
Be sure to take all knives and the like out of your pocket before you go 
in, they won't let you in the building and they have no lockers and you 
have to empty your pockets (its government, emptying pockets is what 
they do best HI ( couldn't resist))
 
See if you can car pool of course. I have this hacking bronchial drainge 
and cough so I don't know if I will make it or not but I will probaby 
drive alone if I go so as to not annoy anyone too much but if anyone is 
carpooling let me know and if my cough is getting better someone can go 
with me or I will go with someone. I would have to know by Wednesday 
afternoon I would think.
