When I lived in Kensington, Leo was a neighbor - 2 streets away. He was a perfect gentleman. Many, a time when I was having antenna problems, a quick call to Leo and he would appear and lend a hand. I am surely going to miss him and his sweet smelling pipe.

I don't know how many FARC members knew Leo. He did know many hams around
the WDC and Balt region.
Leo served as President of the National Capital DX Association for many
years.
As with most radio clubs it was a position he gratefully accepted almost as
a position for life.
I have known him since the mid 1980's after moving into this area.
He was a very good person, a good friend of mine and I will miss him.
