No sooner had I sent my earlier reminder on the MDC QSO Party than I
found this reminder from the ARRL Section folks in my inbox. Great
minds ...

This email has a good summary of the rules and score submission
requirements. You can see the "recommended" frequencies and calling
times on the contest web page, http://www.w3cwc.org/funcontest.htm

MDC QSO PARTY ANNOUNCEMENT - AUG 9 & 10 UTC

Thanks to the Antietam Radio Association for another year of sponsoring
the MDC QSO Party, a fun event that puts our ARRL Section Maryland-DC
on the air on UHF, VHF and HF. Why not invite some new hams and newly
upgraded hams who don't have HF capability yet to operate on HF from
your shack or your club's shack? If you have HF capability, give it a
workout.

The rules are posted below with a link to the official rules.

Amateur Radio is a contact sport, so get on the air and make a
contact!
