[FARC] Thanks for Participating!

Thanks to all who turned out for last night's FARC meeting.  I for one 
was impressed with the great turnout and the level of interest and 
attention given to Tim N3VNG's excellent repeater presentation (and the 
rest of the usual FARC topics as well)! 

Be sure to mark your calendars now for the May meeting on Monday, May 
19th, at 7 PM. 

The main attraction will be a presentation on big-league Ham Radio 
contesting, given by Jim WX3B, an active contester and member of the 
Potomac Valley Radio Club (PVRC).  

For those of you not familiar with PVRC, their mission is basically to 
"Rule the Airwaves" during the many Ham Radio contests they participate 
in, and they're always looking for new members to join the fun and lend 
a hand, in various capacities.  This promises to be another informative 
and interesting presentation, giving a behind-the-signal glimpse of what 
goes into a serious contesting effort.
